Q: When do you play?
A: Thursdays 6PM - 11PM EST

Q:  Where do you play?
A: Shore Backgammon Club of Central New Jersey plays in Peninsula Games located at 604 2nd Avenue #4, Long Branch, NJ 07740

Q: Do I need to bring a backgammon board?
A: No need to bring your own board unless you'd like to, thanks to our sponsor FMGammon.com we have boards for play

Q: Do I need money?
A: At the very minimum you do need $10 to cover our costs for the night to participate

Q: Do you run a backgammon tournament?
A: Yes, we do a single elimination 9pt match backgammon tournament with available re-buys until 8:30PM EST

Q: How much is to re-buy?
A: Re-buy fee is $10

Q: Why is it $20 for the tournament but only $10 to re-buy?
A: $10 of the tournament entry goes towards our weekly costs and $10 goes to the tournament pool

Q: What if I dont gamble but I would like to play?
A: Not a problem, it would be a $10 fee to participate for the night

Q: If I want to play in the tournament but I dont gamble, how does that work?
A: For the $10 nightly fee you can be entered into the tournament you just wont be entered in the prize pool

Q: What if I dont want to play in a tournament, I just want to play?
A: If there are other players who are not in the tournament OR there are players who have been eliminated from the tournament you may ask them to play with you

Q: Is there dinner or food at the events?
A: Peninsula Games does have some drinks and snacks for sale. There are alot of restaurants in the area, check out the guide here for more info

Q: Can I bring my own food and drink?
A: Yes, you may bring your own food and drink
